If you take the combined LEED Green Associate and LEED AP BD+C exam, the cost is $550 for non-members and $400 for USGBC members. Exam fees for certifications vary by country and also influenced by local taxes and currency exchange rates.

You get 2 hours to complete the LEED AP BD+C specialty exam. If you take the combined LEED Green Associate and LEED AP exam in one sitting, the total time is 4 hours.

The LEED AP BD+C specialty exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The combined exam has 100 questions for each part. The exam may also include some unscored questions.

A scaled score of 170 out of 200 is required to pass the LEED professional exams, including the LEED AP BD+C. The minimum possible score is 125.

The LEED AP BD+C specialty exam is available with online proctoring, allowing you to take it from home. The combined LEED Green Associate and LEED AP exam, however, can only be taken in person at a testing center.

To take the LEED AP BD+C exam, you must hold a current LEED Green Associate credential or pass the LEED Green Associate exam concurrently. Candidates must also be at least 18 years old. While not strictly mandatory, prior experience with LEED-registered projects is strongly recommended.
